Cookie policy
How we use cookies on this website.
Courtesy translation — the French version prevails. This English text is provided for information only. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version is the only authoritative text: Politique cookies.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. It allows the website to recognise your browser and to remember certain information.
2. Cookies used
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to work and cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cookie_consent | Stores your consent choice | 6 months |
Anti-bot service (Cloudflare Turnstile)
The contact form is protected by Turnstile, Cloudflare’s anti-bot service. Turnstile sets no cookie, but reads technical information from your browser: as soon as that page opens, it sends that information with your IP address to Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), to check that the submission does not come from a bot. As it is strictly necessary for the security of this form, this reading does not require your consent (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act). See our privacy policy.
Cookie-free audience measurement (Umami)
We measure traffic to the website with Umami Cloud (Umami Software, Inc.), which sets no cookie and does not follow you from one website to another. Your IP address is not stored: it is only used, in hashed form, to tell visits apart. Of the part of page addresses after “?”, only the campaign parameters of our ad links (utm_…, e.g. “google”) are sent. What is recorded: the page viewed, the website you came from, the device and browser type, the country, and a few actions carrying no personal data (click towards sign-up, form submission, opening a FAQ question). Limited to our own statistics and kept for 6 months, this measurement is exempt from consent (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and CNIL guidelines on audience measurement). It is not loaded if you have rejected non-essential cookies, nor if your browser sends the “Do Not Track” signal.
Advertising cookies (subject to consent)
If you click “Accept all”, and only then, we load the Meta pixel (Facebook, Instagram) and the Google Ads tag, on one page only (the “First letter” page), to measure how well our ads perform on these platforms. They receive the address of this page, the fact that you clicked towards sign-up, your IP address and technical information about your browser; we send them neither your email address, nor your name, nor anything you write.
| Cookie | Provider and purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta: recognise your browser to measure our ads | 3 months |
| _fbc | Meta: keep the identifier of a click on a Meta ad | 3 months |
| _gcl_au | Google: measure sign-ups coming from our ads | 3 months |
| _gcl_aw | Google: keep the identifier of a click on a Google ad | 3 months |
Meta and Google may also read or set cookies on their own domains (facebook.com, google.com, doubleclick.net), under their own policies: Meta, Google. To withdraw your consent, use the cookie preferences button below, then “Reject”: the tags are no longer loaded and the cookies above are deleted from this website.
3. Managing your preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time:
- Via your browser: every browser offers options to accept, refuse or delete cookies. Refer to your browser’s documentation.
- Via the consent banner: on your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse advertising cookies.
Deleting necessary cookies may affect how the website works.
4. Retention period
In line with the recommendations of the CNIL, no cookie has a lifespan longer than 13 months, and your choice, whether acceptance or refusal, is kept for 6 months. After that, you will be asked again.
5. Find out more
For any question about our use of cookies, contact us at [email protected].
